  • Insectivorous Ophidians

Hello everyone, I am a French breeder of insectivorous snakes.

At the last Hamm, in December, I met members of the DGHT, and I bought a magazine "Terraria".

I found it very interesting to talk to the members I met.
One of you gave me the address of the forum, and I come to join you today!

I will gladly share with you pictures of my snakes eating insects, snails, centipedes, slugs etc.

(But I do not know if I can do it or not, I do not know your rules)

Sorry for my english, I do my best

    For information, I breed :

    - Aplopeltura boa

    - Cyclophiops major

    - Chionactis occipitalis

    - Eirenis modestus

    - Eirenis punctatolineatus

    - Eirenis collaris

    - Scolecophis a.

    - Storeria occipitomaculata

    - Storeria dekayi limnetes

    - Storeria dekayi victa

    - Storeria dekayi wrightorum

    Hello,

    You have very interesting animals!
I'd love to see some pictures!

    A little question:
I have a small group (2.1) Chionactis occipitalis talpina and I hope to get some eggs next year, did you already bred your Chionactis?

I'd love to see some pictures too!
I'm keeping 1.1 Eirenis modestus for a few month yet, but I'd like to keep some more insectivorous snakes.
Have you already breed Scolecophis atrocinctus? Do you feed them centipedes only?

        Cheers
        Philipp

          Hello,

I'm also interested on information about Scolecophis atrocinctus.

1.1 Eirenis modestus modestus here, too.
I love these animals! When it comes to Eirenis there are so much more Species that would be interesting to keep, but there are not very much you can get...
