Aus der langen zitierten Literaturliste wirst Du höchstwahrscheinlich nicht viel über die Blumentopfschlange erfahren -
höchsten dass man sie überall gefunden hat.
Ich habe sie einige Zeit gepflegt. Durch ihre geringe Grösse ist sie ein Tier das einem leicht entweicht, sie geht durch relativ schmale Schlitze!! Ein Geheimnis gebe ich hier erstmals Preis: zum füttern kann man die Larven der Essigfliege Drosophila geben, auch die Königsbrut der Ameisen wurde gefressen. Sie ist parthogenetisch, das heisst sie legt immer "selbstbefruchtete" Eier ab. Die Eier gleichen kleinen Würsten und sind mit einer "Schnur" verbunden. Sie ist bei Zimmertemperatur (21 - 27 Grad) haltbar.
Mein Tier (Fundort Seychellen, 1982 mit Einfuhrbewilligung lebend eingeführt) lebte
über 2 Jahre - bis zum entweichen.Kommentar

Wer die Liste etwas aufmerksamer liest, kann aber doch auf interessante Arbeiten stoßen.
Es sind nicht alles Checklisten.

Nicht unbedingt ein Geheimnis, wenn man die Literatur gelesen hat.
Aus persönlicher Erfahrung mit Leptotyphlops kann ich diese Fressgewohnheiten ebenfalls bestätigen.
Nicht unerheblich ist der gebrachte Einwand, dass die Tiere wahre Ausbruchskünstler sind. Auch meinem Tier ist es nach einiger Zeit gelungen aus einem dicht verschlossenem Behälter zu entweichen.

Guten Tag,
Herr daniel.Hofer, was Sie mir zum Punkto Fressgewohnheiten geschriben haben ist wahrlich keine Neuigkeit. In der von Herrn Bartz aufgefürten Liste sind wirklich sehr interessante Arbeiten bei.
Was mich etwas wundert, ist ihre Aussage zur Lebensdauer(im Terrarium)Ihrer Tiere ich habe da noch was anderes im Kopf, auch aus dem DGHT Forum.

Auch das ist nix neues , sondern der Grund, warum ich die Infos zu den Tiere suche.
